Crowd Operations Dynamix, Inc. was founded by retired Massachusetts State Police Lieutenant Robert Leverone, a former commander of the agency's Special Emergency Response Team (SERT). SERT is a highly specialized unit trained to respond to both low and high-intensity crowd operations.
Under Lt. Leverone's two decades of leadership as executive officer and unit commander, SERT deployed to numerous instances of crowd management and civil unrest. His experience includes agency consulting, planning, and training for deployments to the Democratic National Convention in Boston in 2004, and the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in 2016. He oversaw the SERT response to crowd issues at Logan International Airport in Boston following the 9/11 attacks, and in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing.
Lt. Leverone has provided guidance and training to thousands of public safety officials from both the public and private sectors. He employs a systems approach to crowd operations, examining the multiple components encompassing an agency's response to crowd operations.
